The Archive CD Books Project began in the UK in March 2000 making reproductions of old books, documents and maps available on CD to genealogists and historians while co-operating with libraries, museums and record offices by providing money
to renovate items in their collections and by donating books to their collections.
It is a more commercial site than the DAA but their aims seem really good
and they are now world-wide. |

I would recommend http://www.everyclick.com/ as your search engine, as it is almost as powerful as Google. It donates money every time you use it to whatever charity you like,
and then if you do want to use Google, you can go into it through Everyclick and still donate! |
